Notification of Market Readiness Related Information for Severe Weather Trading 
Thank you for choosing the services of GF Securities (Hong Kong) Brokerage Limited (“GFSHK”).  
On 15 July 2024, SEHK, SEOCH, HKSCC issued circulars respectively, Severe Weather Trading (“SWT”) will be implemented on 23 September 2024.  
Upon the implementation of SWT, trading of securities on or through SEHK, including Northbound and Southbound Trading under Stock Connect, trading of stock option contracts listed on SEHK, clearing and settlement of both stock option contracts in SEOCH and securities in HKSCC will remain available during SWT.
GFSHK will support the trading activities both online and offline, provide customer service hotline and limited clearing and settlement activities during SWT as they normally would do on a regular trading and settlement day.
Severe Weather conditions includes Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Warning issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, or “Extreme Conditions” announcement by the HKSAR Government.
Please pay attention to your account status and ensure sufficient funds to avoid affecting settlement under SWT.
