eSave, a cash management product launched by GF Securities (Hong Kong) enables you to see higher returns than your bank deposits while enjoying investment flexibility. eSave is a wealth management product used to manage idle cash in an account with subscribing the corresponding underlying SFC authorized money market fund. The system will help clients to subscribe eSave automatically when there is idle cash in an account and redeem the funds’ units from eSave when it is needed (for stock trading, for example) automatically. The automatic operation of the system is more convenient for clients.
- STEP 1Signing
The eSave function will be effective in your securities account after you successfully sign an eSave contract in the app - E-COMMERCE INTERNATIONAL.
- STEP 2Subscription
The system helps clients to subscribe eSave automatically when idle cash exceeds HK$5,000, and redeem part of the fund units from eSave to keep the account balance to HK$5,000 automatically when the cash balance in your account is below HK$5,000.
- STEP 3Redemption
The underlying money market fund unit of eSave will be redeemed automatically when it is needed for equity trading or IPO subscription. In addition, the “Manual Redemption” function allows you to draw your money back or purchase another financial product without contract termination.
- STEP 4Termination
You may terminate the eSave contract in advance manually and the system will send an instruction to redeem all of the underlying eSave fund units after the termination is complete.
Attentions:
1. You must complete a risk assessment questionnaire and suitability test in the mobile app, E-COMMERCE INTERNATIONAL, before signing the eSave contract.
2. Risk Match - Your personal risk tolerance level must be higher than or equal to the risk rating of the underlying eSave money market fund.
3. Concentration Match - your eSave holdings must not exceed the maximum proportion of the mutual fund in your total assets as you indicated in the risk assessment questionnaire previously or the upper limit (40%) preset by GF Securities (Hong Kong); whichever is lower shall prevail.
4. As you are a client of GF Securities (Hong Kong), your instructions (including real-time instructions and pre-authorized instructions) will be reasonably considered as those sent to GF Securities (Hong Kong) by you based on your expression of true intention. If a pre-authorized instruction is sent by a third party with your authorization to GF Securities (Hong Kong), you should be responsible for the authenticity, accuracy and integrity of this instruction and GF Securities (Hong Kong) will not be liable for any legal consequences arising from execution of the instruction mentioned above; therefore you should keep your identity authentication properly.
5. You shall be liable for any loss caused by the leakage of any of your identity authentication due to your personal reason or any untrue and incomplete identity information provided by you.

With regard to the funds, previous performance is not an indicator of future performance. You understand that the prices and returns of the funds may go up or down and the investments may incur losses or even become worthless when an alternative investment/hedge fund uses an alternative investment strategy and that fund involves the risks those are not common for the traditional funds.
